Reliance Bangladesh LNG & Power Ltd is a 100% foreign-owned company incorporated in Bangladesh as per the Companies Act 1994, to Build Own and Operate 718 MW (net) gas fired combined cycle power plant at Meghnaghat, Narayanganj, Bangladesh.
The Company signed the Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) and Land Lease Agreement (LLA) with Bangladesh Power Development Board (BPDB), Implementation Agreement (IA) with Ministry of Power, Energy & Mineral Resources and Gas Supply Agreement (GSA) with Titas Gas Transmission & Distribution Company Limited (Titas), together called as the Project Agreements for setting up the Project.
The project is financed by financial institutions and reputed banks including Asian Development Bank, Japan Bank for International Cooperation, Nippon Export and Investment Insurance, Mizuho Bank Ltd., Société Générale, MUFG Bank and Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation.
The Company is having its registered office at Gulshan, Dhaka.
